My First Stich Fix

I got my first Stick Fix in the mail today and boy am I a happy camper. For those of you not familiar with Stitch Fix it is an online personal styling website. You go online fill out a style profile and then schedule a Fix. You receive a box with 5 items personally picked out for you along with a style card for each item. You pay for what you keep and if you keep everything you get 25% off. If you decide to send everything back you pay a $20.00 styling fee. You can read more about it here

For me this is a perfect way to shop. I can never find the time to get to the mall to shop for myself. I also usually have to bring the kids along and that can be a bit of a nightmare. Also my clothing store options here in Sioux Falls area bit limited.

So here's my Fix

Item number 1, Root Crochet Detail Tie-Neck Tank.

I at first was not sure about this one when I pulled it out of the box, but the fit is great and I know I will wear it a lot both by itself and layered.

Number 2. Callie Denim Jacket.
I would have never  picked out a denim jacket for myself but the quality on and fit on this are both great. I also know I will wear this a ton so It's a keeper.

Number 4 Robby 3/4 Sleeve Striped Wrap Dress
I love wrap dresses so I knew right away this one was a keeper. Piper also told me when I pulled this one out of the box that I will look like a nice zebra in it. If that is not a reason to keep it I don't know what is. I can see wearing it with flats or with tights and boots. You can't really see the length well in this photo but it falls right above the knee.

Number 4, Ashford Striped Cross-Front Knit Shirt
This one was probably my least favorite. It was really awkward trying to figure out on to get it to lay right. Also I wish it was a bit longer. I did not take a picture of this but the back is different fabric, and I did like that. This was the least expensive item in my Fix so it is actually cheaper for me to keep it and get the discount then to send it back. Also if I style it correctly know that it will fit into my work wardrobe just fine.

Number 5, Pepper Hooded Front Pocket Sweatshirt
So I was a little on the fence with this one too. It's a little boxy but I sent a cell phone photo to my sister and she responded, "You know you are going to wear that all the time". She's right this will most likely become a staple of my mommy wear. The fabric is also really great and it's rather light so I can wear it year round.

I have to say I'm very pleased with my first fix. I'm shocked that I'm keeping everything. The total of all 5 items came in at less then what I had budgeted and that 25% off is huge. Also I can really tell that my stylist fallowed my style board on pinterest.

Make sure if you are thinking of getting your own Stitch Fix to sign up here. I get a $25.00 credit for each person I refer!
