31 Photos from May

Here's my photos from May. It was a really busy month and we were finally able to get outside and play a little. I also have a few photos from a couple of my professional shoots thrown into the mix.

Windows Down

We road with the windows down today on our way home from the zoo. Piper got so excited to have the wind blowing in her hair that she gave herself the hiccups.

Rainy Afternoon

We had a nice calm rain all afternoon today. Dexter and Hoot ate snack right by the screen door today so he could be close to it. Then when Piper woke up from her nap I let them dance a little in the rain. Piper told me it was the best rainy day ever.

Recent Trip to Minnesota

This post is a few days late but I wanted to share a few photos from last weekend's trip to Minnesota. I headed over to Minnesota with the Kids on Saturday to take some photos of a really sweet little 6 month old girl and to spend Mother's Day with my Mama.

We also did a bunch of other fun stuff...

We went to visit Papa and his tractor. Dex was so in love with the whole experience. You can tell by the look on his face.

Piper was more interested in the old house across the road from Papa's field. She wanted me to take a spooky picture of her in front of it.

Mother's Day we made a trip to visit my Grandpa and Grandma. The top photo is the only photo I got of my mom, both my kids and my Grandma.

Both kids loved the aviary and it was so good to see my Grandparents.

On Monday I met up with my best friend from high school, her 2 year old and brand new baby boy. We thought it would be fun to take our kids to Sibley Park to see the animals and play at the playground. I spent most of my time chasing my kids around so I hardly got a chance to catch up with Jill. Here's a photo of my guy (in green) and her oldest guy (in gray).

It was a busy and fun trip to Minnesota and needless to say many great memories were made.
