Painting Easter Eggs Outside

Tonight when we finished dinner I asked Piper what she wanted to do with her last hour before bed. Her answer was "Paint Easter Eggs". I threw together a quick art project and talked her into painting outside. The great thing about painting outside is there are so many fun things to paint with. Piper tried painting with rocks, twigs and grass. She also liked being able to run laps around the back yard in between paint strokes.
Here's her finial product.

31 Photos From March

This month was wonderful! The weather was awesome so we were able to get outside lots! It was so nice to get to shoot in different types of light. Dexter is also growing and and were able to get out and about a little bit more. I have to say this is one of my favorite set of photos so far.

This is what you get when you let a 2 year old direct her own video.

9 Weeks Old

Dexter is 9 weeks old! He had another big week this last week.
He's had lots of tummy time, story, time and trips to the park with his sister. He also had his baptism last Sunday. It was so nice to have a special day just for Dexter!

Piper's 2nd Birthday

Piper's 2nd birthday was all about the cake. All she could talk about leading up to her birthday was her cake. If you asked her what she wanted for her birthday she'd say "A Cake!". When we would ask her what kind of cake she wanted she said "A chocolate cake with chocolate frosting on it and a pink pony on it." I think every time we skyped with my sister in the last two months all she would talk about was the cake.

Piper was not disappointed! The cake turned out super cute and very tasty!
Piper had a wonderful 2nd birthday! She had so much fun!

Here a few more photos of Piper's cake.

Two Years Old

Tomorrow my baby girl turns 2 years old. It's hard to believe all that has happened since she was born!

Piper's second trip around the sun was full of wonderful memories.
She learned to walk/run.
Her verbal skills blossomed and now she can carry on a full conversation.
She became a big sister.

To quote her Dada "Piper is larger than life". She brings us so much joy and a few gray hairs here and there. I can't imagine my life with out our little Pip Squeak.

Here are a few photos from Piper's second year of life:)

Happy Second Birthday Piper! I love you so much!
