Halloween 2012

It's Halloween again, may favorite day of the year. Last night we finally got around to carving pumpkins a pumpkin. Josh was kind and dug out all the guts and then let me carve it! He also gave Dex some guts to play with. Dexter of course tried to eat the guts, and I of course took a picture of him eating the guts.

Dex wore Piper's tiger costume from last year and Piper wore her cousin Ruby's lady bug costume. Piper also painted her own face. I have to say they were both gosh darn cute! The first house we stopped at for trick or treating was my aunt Babs's . I made sure to take a picture with her and the kids.

Our neighbor's across the street decked out they're garage once again this year. Super creepy but so much fun!

Piper managed to hit up the same amount of houses as she did last year. After about a half hour she told me her bucket was getting heavy and she just wanted to eat candy so we headed home. Josh let both kids have a sucker. Once again I took a picture instead of stopping him. 

I have to share 2 more photos from today. Up to this point the couch has been Piper's "safe place" to keep all her books, toys and anything else she doesn't want Dexter to get. Well today he pulled himself up on the couch. As you can see he is pretty proud of himself. Piper on the other hand is not too happy.
