Finding a New Normal

We are officially moved but I can't quite say we are officially settled. As of right now we are living in my parents basement in Mapleton. On the days that Josh works he is living in my aunt and uncles basement in Sioux Falls. We're praying that our house will sell fast, but in this market who know s what could happen. Piper is loving all the extra attention and is laughing all the time. I know that this transition time is not going to be easy but I also know that we're only doing this to better ourselves. I'm so looking forward to the time when our house in Portland is sold and we can all live together as a family in Sioux Falls. Until then I'm keeping my self busy cleaning out my old stuff, doing laundry, unpacking and trying to create some normalcy in our lives.

  1. Sounds so familiar...Nick and I lived with his parents for over a year and a half. It definitely becomes a different kind of normal and while you may find yourself going a bit stir crazy here and there, just be sure to take some time to yourself with all of the extra help for Piper.
