Black Hills Vacation

Last week we loaded up the car, Piper loaded up on candy and we headed west across I-90 to the Black Hills. Josh's sister's family and his mom joined us for this adventure. We saw lots of tourist attractions, lots of nature and the kids had so much fun playing with their cousins. 

Though Piper will tell you her favorite part was the Corn Palace in Mitchell SD I know the highlight was the Chuck Wagon ride and cowboy dinner in Custer State Park.

My breakfast conversation with Piper…

Me: Piper, what would you like for breakfast?

Piper: I want eggs, cereal with cheerios, fruity pebbles and lucky charms, banana and orange juice.

Me: Are you sure you can eat all of that?

Piper: Yep

Me: Okay, you have to eat all of it.

Piper: I will.

5 min later

Piper: I’m all done.

Me: you still have cereal to eat.

Piper: I will eat 3 bites.

Me: No you have to eat all of it.

Piper: 3 bites.

Me: No if you want to watch TV when you are done you have to eat all of it.

Piper: Sounds great, I’ll eat 3 bites. 

Sprinkler Time

I have been so bad at posting on this blog this summer. Life has been a lot of fun but very busy. 

The sprinkler has been our go to after dinner activity lately so I thought I should share some of my favorite sprinkler pics...enjoy!

June 2013

June was a crazy month. I think we spent more days away than at home. Family vacations, family reunions, weddings, balloon launches....this month was so much fun!

Months like this one I am so thankful for my 365 project so I can go back and look at the photos and remember each day.
