I Heart Sun Flares

I took this photo a few weeks ago when a water main broke down the street. Piper was loving all the commotion and trucks with flashing lights. I was hating the fact that we were going to be with out water for an extented period of time.

What I did love though was the flairs I was getting while taking photos of her. I have to say I love the light in our new home. The light in the house is seriously a photographers dream. Everyday I find a new nook that offer great light.

This week the I Heart Faces challenge just happens to be sun flares. I love playing with the sun and seeing what kind of fun effects I can get. Rainy Days and Saturdays

It was another stormy day here in Portland.

I was super lazy spent most he day snuggling with the little one, reading and listing to music.
I think we're all allowed to have days like these as long as we don't make a habit of it.

I found this beautiful blog today. It really makes me get in the habit of taking photos of all the things around me. I don't know if I'm ready to start another project365 but I really need to get behind the lens more often. I feel a lot of the skills I've learned slipping away, I really need to get back in the swing of things.

Pipsqueak was full of smiles to day. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do;)

Another Baby Belly Series

Do you all remember this blog post from a few months back? I'm still kicking myself for not doing something similar during my pregnancy. What a cool way to share with your child what happened while they were still in your belly. Anyway the artist who created the wonderful photos is at it again. This time with he's taking photos for a friend and the outcome is just as beautiful and fun. You can check it out here!

In other news today's cravings consisted of chicken nuggets and orange juice. Where do these cravings come from and why can't I function until they are fulfilled?

This and That

I've been meaning blog multiple posts this last week but between working late and the third trimester sleepiness I haven't had much luck. I'm going to try to squeeze everything into one post!

Today was an great day. My friends and co-works threw Josh and me a baby shower. We got so many cute things! Josh was a trooper he hates being the center of attention but he sucked it up and I think he even had a good time. We were able to have movie night tonight and finally watched The Hangover. I think we were possibly the last people on earth to see it...sorry Em we both really enjoyed it.

I've been having such crazy baby dreams these last couple of nights. I guess my mom and my sister have been having grand-baby and niece dreams too. In my latest dreams the baby comes and she has a baby body and Josh's head. I think It's because of this creepy website.

My little sis's Forensics (speech) team made their local news this week. My sis coaches forensics (speech) at Tennessee State. Check out the news story here!
