Look who's 4 months old!

It's so amazing how much she grows each month! As you can see she's become a pro at tummy time. She's rolling over both ways, putting everything she can grab in her mouth, and talking like crazy.

She giggled for the first time today!
It was seriously the best sound I have ever heard!

It feels like she's always been a part of my life...it's so hard to imagine what life would be like with out her.

Weekend Waffles

We ate at the Waffle Window on Hawthorn this weekend. I have to say these waffles are amazing!!!

I had the banana rumba...as you can see from the photo below this thing was piled high in toppings. The toppings were pretty great the the waffle it's self was the best part. Josh had the ham and cheese waffle...also very very good!

I can't wait to go back and get more waffles!

Mt. St. Helens

Josh, Piper and I finally made it up to Mt St Helens. We've had a day trip to Mt St Helens on our to-do list for quite some time. It was such a beautiful day and we had lots of fun!

I wonder what Piper and Josh do all day while I'm at work.

I'm pretty sure they play, play play all day!

My Birthday Brownie

I turned 28 years old yesterday.

My 25th year brought me to Portland.
My 26th year I became a wife.
My 27th year made me a mom.

What will my 28th year bring?

Piper's New Little Buddie

Piper has a favorite toy.
Her Uncle Nick gave this little bunny to her before she was even born. I handed it to her the other day and it hasn't left her side since. It goes for walks, takes naps, and plays with her on her tummy time mat.
It's amazing how a 3 month old can already have a favorite toy!

A Summer Sunday

I spent most of the day doing my least favorite thing in the whole world, working on my resume and cover letter. I haven't updated them for over a year and as much as I love staying home with my baby girl I think it's time to start at least looking for a job. Lucky for me my sis is amazing at writing so she helped me out a lot this afternoon!

Josh cut some roses from our back yard the other day. I love having fresh flowers in the house and when they didn't cost anything that makes them even better.

We had a yummy dinner tonight, pesto salmon, toasted quinoa, and broccoli.
