1 Month Old

My little girl turned one month old yesterday. We celebrated the day by washing all her 0-3 month clothes (she's almost ready to fit in them) and going for a walk with our friends Ella and Rebecca.

Wow what a month this has been becoming parents, moving into a new home and doctors appointments every week. I've learned you can't have too many onesies, blankies and burp rags. There have been many nights with very little sleep and I've had to learn to graze rather than sit down and have a nice meal but it's all been worth it.

I've also gotten to watch a lot of late night TV. Josh is amazed with the great documentaries on Public Broadcasting at 3 am. I'm trying to figure out why the hosts on the Insider talk so loud.

It's been a great month!

Home Sweet Home

We Moved!

Josh, Piper, and I moved yesterday into our new home. We're all pretty exhausted. I think I over extended myself and I paid for it today. Poor Josh has had to work extra hard because my body isn't up to par and I'm taking care of the little one. We're all looking forward to getting unpacked and putting the furniture where it needs to be.

The movers Josh hired were really into holistic medicinal and actually had him eating weeds out of our lawn. It was pretty amusing and he hasn't keeled over yet. They also gave him all kinds of advice on things you can do with dandelions.

Even though the last few days have been stressful it's so nice to have a place to call our very own. Piper has a beautiful back yard to play in not to mention the little park right next store.

It feels good to be home!

3 Weeks Old Yesterday

My little girl is now 3 weeks old. Josh, Piper, and I are finally falling into some what of a rhythm. We've been busy getting the house ready, the plan is to move next Wednesday. We're busy but so happy!
