I've been meaning blog multiple posts this last week but between working late and the third trimester sleepiness I haven't had much luck. I'm going to try to squeeze everything into one post!
Today was an great day. My friends and co-works threw Josh and me a baby shower. We got so many cute things! Josh was a trooper he hates being the center of attention but he sucked it up and I think he even had a good time. We were able to have movie night tonight and finally watched The Hangover. I think we were possibly the last people on earth to see it...sorry Em we both really enjoyed it.
I've been having such crazy baby dreams these last couple of nights. I guess my mom and my sister have been having grand-baby and niece dreams too. In my latest dreams the baby comes and she has a baby body and Josh's head. I think It's because of this creepy website.
My little sis's Forensics (speech) team made their local news this week. My sis coaches forensics (speech) at Tennessee State. Check out the news story here!
In the last few weeks I've become obsessed with newborn photography. Here are a couple of the sights I've been looking at.

I've been taking notes and I'm hoping that when the little lady finally comes she doesn't mind being my first model.
That's all for now.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!

Writers Almanac
Three days a week I work until 10pm. During the last few hours of my shift I listen to OPB. The last thing I hear before I leave is Garrison Keilor's Writers Almanac. Every now and then I hear a poem that sticks with me. Today was one of those days. Garrison read the poem Travel Directions tonight. If you get a chance you should read it or listen to it here!

Wonderful Weather makes for a Wonderful Weekend!
The weather has been amazing here in Portland. Saturday I was recovering from a migraine and Josh got home from a trip and wasn't feel all that great. We both spent the day laying around trying to feel better. I knew that today may be one of the last nice days we have here for a while. It was also one of the first days Josh and I both had a day off together in months. We took full advantage!
We went to Washington Park and took some photos.
We went to Hawthorn to get some Cold Stone ice cream.
We skyped with my parents and heard all about the recent trip to Hawaii.
We had a wonderful sit down dinner together.
I love getting to spend time with my Hubby. It was a great day and a beautiful weekend!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day
I sure did! It was my first year receiving a wife card. I celebrated my V-day a day late. Josh had to work on Sunday but we knew we had to dress up and go out for a nice dinner this year. I know the next 15+ Valentines are going to be heart shaped pizzas and root beer at home.
We went to Touche on NW Glisan. I had the Lamb Shwerma. The flavors were super intense and I would definitely order it again.
On the way home we stopped at Papa Hayden so we could split a Baked Alaska...the best dessert in the whole world!
We did have a scary moment on the way to the first restaurant. I slipped on some wet pavement on the way there and banged up my knee. It could have been a lot worse but Josh and I both realized I can't go tramping around town. I'm almost 8 months pregnant and I need to be careful walking all over the place. My balance is not what it normally is and I need to be taking care of myself.
All and all it was a fun night with my hubby! I hope you were able to spend the day with someone you love or at least like a little!

Baby "want" List
It seems like I've wasted a lot of the last few months looking at baby products online. I created a baby registry at Target.com that has many of the things we need to make a safe and comfortable home for our little one. While setting up the registry I've found so many other products that I really like but really don't need. Here are a few of my favorites.
The Ergo Baby Carrier
I've seen a lot of parents using this particular baby carrier at work and while traveling. It is called the Ergo and had amazing reviews. Josh and I both love the idea of baby wearing and I pretty sure this is a product we're eventually going to invest in.

I would love to get a print with each one of the little one's initials...once we officially decide a middle name.

I love these crib shoes...I wear a pair that looks a lot like these in black they're just a little bigger.

Baby Belly weeks 32 and 34
My sis requested to see some belly pictures.
I took one a few weeks back, but I haven't been uploading photos to my other blog lately and my only excuse is laziness.

Babies on The Brain
My brain has basically turned to mush in the last month or so. One of my co-workers who I work with once a week told me each week I'm getting a little bit dumber. My boss who just recently became the father of his second son keeps telling me it's baby brain and not to worry and that some day my brain will work again. The only thing that I care about or can even concentrate on is babies. I think this would be the perfect movie for me right now and my state of mind.
